![]() ![]() This is a carbon copy from both Yaldaboth and Maruki, but lacks the emotional punch that either of those games do, especially Persona 5 Royal. For instance, the Metaverse takes over the real world, as a god attempts to rob humanity of pain by taking its free will. Persona 5 Strikers copies both vanilla Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal (which was in development at the same time), but never does as good as a job as either of the other games. Sadly, this is basically Persona 5 Strikers in a nutshell.Īnd the same can be done for the rest of the storyline, to be honest. Plus, I found that much of her journey echoed Morgana’s to find his place is the world and where he belonged, so that it was just a literal rehashing of that storyline, but not as well done. From the beginning, Sophia was just an unneeded gimmick to me, and lacked the presence of the other characters. But I just never really learned to love the character or to even see her as a Phantom Thief. Since I initially shared my First Impressions of Persona 5 Strikers, I wanted to share my final thoughts on the game now that I’ve spent much more time on it and completed it. Reason for the second option: You don't want to play two 100h+ games that are very similar.Months after the game initially released in the U.S., I have finally finished my playthrough of Persona 5 Strikers! After over 75 hours into the game, I even acquired the Platinum Trophy for it. So why not play both versions of the game while you are at it? Lastly, a loooooot of people go for several playthroughs because they enjoy the game so much. Additionally, "after Persona 5 depression" is a thing and having P5R to look forward to will definitely help you dealing with it. Reasons for the first option: If you played P5 you will appreciate the changes in P5R (which is basically an enhanced special edition with additional content and QoL improvements + all the paid DLC for P5 for free) even more. Either you play both P5 and P5R (this is the option I always recommend) or you play P5R. Whenever someone asks how to go about Persona 5 I tell them the following (copy & paste): You should play the main game before (either P5 or P5R).
